SPOTTED in Stationery Trends Summer Issue!

What a fabulous way to start the weekend! Our very popular navy, green and burlap wedding invitations that were designed for our dear friend have been included in the summer issue of Stationery Trends Magazine. Ever since we debuted these special invites on our blog and Pinterest, the inquiries have been coming in to create more so don't be surprised if some customs versions appear on our blog later this year. Thank you ST Magazine!

We have a few weddings coming up that we are guests at and I'm always trying to think of unique, memorable gifts that will stand apart from the typical glass vase (not that those aren't lovely). One fun idea for a bridal shower might be these great custom stamps from Paper Source. The designs are really fun and it's such a useful gift for the bride and groom...especially with all of those thank you cards! A custom stamp is also a cost effective way to save on envelope printing when sending out save the dates or invites and then you can continue to use it after the wedding.

MARRIED:: Jen & Kevin

Would you like to see a completely DROOL-WORTHY wedding? Just take a look at the pictures below from The Prado at Balboa Park. This was a wedding that we worked on last summer, but since we just started this blog recently, I had to dig it up and showcase it again. Once you look at the pictures, you will understand. Coordinated by Susan Duffy from Crown Weddings and photographed impeccably by Parris Studios, Jen and Kevin designed a true fairytale event that overflowed with the most stunning flowers by Karen Tran Florals. We had the honor of not only attending this soiree, but also designing the save the dates, invitations, table numbers, seating cards, gobo, and programs. Even with all these incredible details, Jen completely stole the show with her fitted gown and elegant updo. The last picture really sums it up....could they look any happier??

Today I'm loving....scallops!

How cute are scallops? They are very delicate and kind of add a whimsical feel to anything they touch. While out shopping the other day, I came across a gorgeous dress with scallop detail that made me want to throw a party just to have a good reason to wear it. I still may go back and get it...just in case. I love the thought of creating a wedding invitation and cake with a scallop pattern and I think I'll test out a few designs for 2011 Christmas cards!

Summer is definitely  the busiest season for the wedding industry. We've had a great time creating special, personalized pieces for our brides and here are some of our favorites from this summer...
