We're Back!

After taking some time off to have my second son, I am so pleased to be back at it with some new invitations and projects in the works! Our second son, Parker Edward, was born on September 20th and to announce his big arrival into the world, we created these precious announcements with quotes from the book On the Night You Were Born, by Nancy Tillman. It's one of my all-time favorite children's books. Nancy just has a magical way with words that really speak to the reader.

These announcements featured three pictures printed on premium card stock with a two-layer overlay. I put satin ribbon in between the layers to create a "holder" for the cards and a unique way to bring everything together. The adorable photography is by Ashley at Ashlynn Marie Photography.

In addition to invitations, I've also been working on a new blog that's close to my heart. It's called Parker and Ty and it is all about inspiring kids to read and be read to. Come check it out HERE for home library ideas, fabulous party inspiration, children's book reviews and more!

Our Latest "Project"

Spring is in the air and we are so pleased and excited to announce our latest "project"....baby #2 is on the way for us in September! We could not be more thrilled to give Tyler a sibling. To deliver the special news to our families, I created a custom pregnancy announcement card that we were able to watch them open. The white wood letters are from Michael's and Tyler didn't love them at first, but he played along and I took an individual picture (or several really) of him with each one and then put them together for the picture on the card. We can't wait to see how Tyler reacts to the new addition!
