Our Top 10 DIY Party Decorations

From the Martha Stewart crafts department ~ Use colored paper
bags with letter stickers to double as decorations. For the banner,
attach plastic cups to ribbon strings with clothespins and make a
game out of who can throw a ping pong ball into different cups!
Chalk board placemats from hardtofind.com.au or you can
easily make them with squares of craft wood and chalk board
paint!
From bhg.com for a Christmas or Birthday party ~ buy
artist canvases from a craft shop, wrap with
wrapping paper and ribbon and hang!

From adaywithlilmama.blogspot.com ~ these utensil holders are made out of tissue boxes and cut up egg cartons!

From laurenconrad.com ~ hanging glass bottles with flowers in them from twine as party décor. For specific instructions, visit laurenconrad.com.

Another brilliant and easy idea from Martha Stewart ~ All you need is some brown kraft paper folded into a cone shape and attached to the bottom of your balloon. Use a small amount of spray glue on the top of the balloon and add real sprinkles for an extra cute effect!

For a bridal shower or birthday, fill a teapot with flowers and
place on a cake stand with favors!

From cakeeventsblog.com ~ a tin bucket filled with blue tissue paper and little toy sailboats, starfish or sea creatures!

From apairofpears.com ~ DIY bunting. This is so cute and so easy. You can
add this to the top of a cake or between two bottles over a dessert.
Print out some patterned paper and cut into a long diamond shape.
Add some glue and fold in the center over a piece of twine or thin ribbon.
Tie to two wood sticks (super cheap at craft stores) and stick into a cake
or vintage bottles.
